Learn the basics of night photography in the city

About the event

Have you always wanted to capture photographs at night time but don't know where to start?

Join me in Auckland City as we go through the basics of night photography!

Learn how to properly expose your images, how to frame them, and also how to be more creative in an urban environment. You'll get the chance to photograph cityscapes, long exposures, and experiment with light painting.

Please Note: This workshop is solely focused on the BASICS of night photography. If you haven't photographed at night before this workshop is for you!

Back-up date will be the following day on Sunday in case of bad weather. Please make sure that you can attend on either Saturday or Sunday night, as there will be no refunds given if the workshop is postponed until Sunday.

If both of the evenings are unsuitable due to bad weather and the event is canceled by me, a full refund will be given.

Itinerary

7PM: We'll gather at the meet-up location and spend the first few minutes of the session going through a short introductory talk about camera gear and recommended settings.

7PM - 9PM: We'll then head to 2-3 other locations where you will practice night photography. These locations are all within walking distance from each other (5-10 minute walk).

Please Note:

- At least 3 attendees are required for this workshop to go ahead.

- This workshop is strictly limited to 6 people so that I can spend plenty of one-on-one time with all attendees and ensure that everyone goes home with an image they are happy with.
