About the event
NOTE: Due to the weather forecast, the night will be on Friday 2nd October.
Join Adelaide's Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Colin J. Pearce, for your Astrophotography adventure in the Adelaide Hills with your Sony Alpha Camera.
This location has been chosen due to its particularly dark sky and the interesting foreground possibilities. We have been given special permission to be here, and the charge for this event partially contributes to that cost.
We're lucky in Australia to have one of the best places in the world to be able to see the Milky Way, and this is the ideal time of year. With modern Sony Alpha cameras we have incredibly powerful tools to capture the stars, which was impossible for normal photographers just a few short years ago.
NOTE: Due to the face-to-face nature of this trip, you will be required to adhere to government regulations for the pandemic that are current at the time of this event.
