Sony Bird and Wildlife Photography Workshop at Healesville Sanctuary
Join Sony for an unforgettable wildlife photography experience at one of Australia's most iconic conservation parks — Healesville Sanctuary. Located in the heart of Victoria’s Yarra Valley, Healesville Sanctuary is world-renowned for its dedication to native Australian wildlife, offering an extraordinary opportunity to photograph some of the country’s most fascinating and beautiful creatures in a natural, bushland setting.
Whether it’s the vibrant flash of a lorikeet in flight, the powerful silhouette of a wedge-tailed eagle soaring overhead, or the quiet charm of a platypus gliding through clear water, Healesville Sanctuary offers a rich tapestry of photographic subjects. With thoughtfully designed habitats and up-close access to a wide range of birds, mammals, and reptiles, it’s a dream location for wildlife photography enthusiasts who want to practice their skills in a real-world environment.
Under the expert guidance of Eric Peng, professional photographer and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, you’ll learn how to capture dynamic wildlife moments using Sony’s latest and most advanced gear. Participants will have the rare chance to try Sony’s coveted G Master telephoto lenses — famous for their exceptional sharpness and beautiful bokeh — paired with Sony’s high-speed Alpha bodies, including:
Alpha 1 (A1)
Alpha 9 series (A9, A9II)
Alpha 7R V (A7RV)
(Camera bodies and lenses subject to availability and change, the above list is indicative only)
Each session is kept deliberately small — with only 1 to 7 participants — ensuring you receive personalised, hands-on coaching.
