Capture Stunning Wildlife Images at Werribee Open Range Zoo

About the event

Wildlife Photography Workshop at Werribee Open Range Zoo

Capture incredible wildlife images and take your photography skills to the next level at Werribee Open Range Zoo.

Join us for an exciting wildlife photography workshop at Werribee Open Range Zoo, one of Victoria’s unique wildlife destinations. With its expansive open-range setting and incredible variety of animals, the zoo provides an ideal environment to practise photographing wildlife in a dynamic, natural-looking environment.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to spend time behind the camera while receiving expert, practical coaching from Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Eric Peng. Eric will share his knowledge and experience to help you improve your wildlife photography, with guidance on camera settings, focusing, tracking moving subjects, composition, exposure and techniques for capturing sharp, engaging images.

Whether you're new to wildlife photography or looking to refine your skills, you'll have the opportunity to put techniques into practice throughout the day and receive personalised advice along the way.

What to bring

There will be no loan equipment available at this event, so please bring your own camera and telephoto lens suitable for wildlife photography. Make sure your batteries are charged and you have sufficient memory cards for a full day of shooting.
