Join me, Luke Tscharke, for a night photography walk through Hobart during the Dark Mofo festival period! I'm teaming up with Sony Advocate Eric Peng and Stallard's Camera House to bring you this special event featuring Sony's latest camera gear, including the opportunity to try out the new FE 16mm f/1.8 G lens.

This photo walk is a great chance to capture Hobart's interesting scenes during the Dark Mofo festival. We'll explore how to photograph the festival's lighting installations, work with low-light conditions, and create street photography with compelling compositions.
It's also an excellent opportunity to try handheld low-light photography techniques. While you're welcome to bring a tripod, we'll focus on adaptable approaches that allow you to move freely and capture spontaneous moments. Eric Peng and I will be on hand throughout the walk to offer guidance and answer questions.
Sony loan equipment will be available for you to try, including the new Sony FE 16mm f/1.8 G lens with its night photography-friendly f/1.8 aperture. If you'd like to borrow equipment, you'll be asked to complete a short form after registering.
Please note that while this event coincides with Dark Mofo, it is not an official Dark Mofo event. Entry to Winter Feast or any ticketed Dark Mofo events is not included in this photo walk.
