Spend a relaxed half day shooting long exposure locations around Hobart

About the event

Join professional photographer Luke Tscharke on a half day exploration of Hobart's long exposure locations. From waterfalls to jetties, boat ramps and bridges, Hobart has a plethora of locations where you can capture incredible long exposure images.

Luke will personally guide you and your small group to several long exposure locations in and around the outskirts of the city. Our itinerary will be flexible and adaptable, making sure we make the most of the conditions. The workshop is timed for us shoot from golden hour into sunset

Please note that a remote shutter release is essential for this workshop. If you don't have one please get in touch with Luke prior to the workshop, he will have some for you to borrow (Sony cameras only). A small selection of filters will be available for you to borrow during the workshop. If you already have filters then please bring them along.

Sorry meals aren't provided. We will finish in time for you to have a late dinner.
Comfortable clothing. Bring a jacket in case it gets cold or rainy. Wear enclosed footwear that have good grip, that you don't mind if they get wet or dirty.
Free all day parking is available at the meeting point at Queens Domain.
Workshop includes ground transport to all locations, fuel, in-field training from a professional photographer.
