Through intimate portraits and powerful storytelling, Kate uses her lens to celebrate the wild and advocate for its preservation. She believes photography is not only a tool for storytelling, but one of the most powerful ways to reconnect people with the beauty and fragility of life on Earth.

Kirsty Halliday

Kirsty Halliday is a multi-award-winning photographer and Sony Advocate based in Northland, New Zealand. With over a decade of experience, she work seamlessly traverses genres including weddings, surf, underwater and portraiture.

Kirsty's work is known for its storytelling and emotional depth, with a strong focus on connection to people and place. Her nationally recognised "This Is Me" campaign supports women overcoming trauma, reflecting her belief in photography as a tool for empowerment and change.

Liam Breanan

Liam Brennan is a two-time ACS Gold Tripod-winning cinematographer and filmmaker based in Sydney. He began his career in the music world, where shooting music videos sparked an interest in storytelling through film. Today, Liam’s work – recognised for its colour and emotional richness – spans branded content, documentaries, and commercials.

Equally comfortable with the technical and creative sides of filmmaking, Liam strives to bring out the best in both collaborators and talent. His aim behind the camera? To create images that make you lean in.

Luke Tscharke

Luke Tscharke is a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate and landscape photographer based in Tasmania. A former biologist, Luke blends scientific precision with his singular creative vision to capture Australia’s most remote and wild regions – from the ancient rainforests of his home state to the Antarctic icefields.

His work highlights the beauty and fragility of these environments while advocating for their protection. In his role guiding photography workshops in Tasmania, Luke shares practical techniques and deeper insights into connecting with place, helping others consistently create powerful, well-planned imagery.

Mark Galer

Mark Galer is a veteran of the digital imaging world, with a career that’s tracked alongside photography’s most exciting transformations. A professional photographer, educator and author, Mark spent 14 years as a senior lecturer and program director at RMIT University’s renowned photography program.

With over 30 photography books and 160+ magazine articles to his name, Mark has also been a Sony Digital Imaging Ambassador for over a decade, and his popular Alpha support channel helps photographers around the world get the most out of their gear. Known for pushing the limits of imaging technology, Mark continues to be a guiding voice in the global photography community.

Matthew Abbott

Matthew Abbott is an Australian photojournalist whose work captures the powerful intersection of people, culture and place. His images have appeared in "The New York Times", "National Geographic" and "The Washington Post", and explore themes of resilience, climate and identity.

Mike Amarico is a Melbourne-based photographer and creator, best known for his Youtube (and Instagram) channel, “North Borders”. What began as a passion soon became a full-time pursuit, with content that’s energetic and grounded in lived experience. A long-time Sony shooter, Mike credits their gear with helping bring his wildest ideas to life – from editing at home to chasing lightning in the outback.

Recent projects include Adult Swim’s “Munch Rexford: Legendary Poacher!!” and ABC’s “Ruby Rai P.I.”, and he is currently developing projects with 20th Television Animation and Bento Box Entertainment in the US.

Nick and Helmi are a husband-and-wife duo based in Sydney, creating cinematic travel and food content across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Their signature style blends cultural discovery with vibrant visuals and practical tips, spotlighting hidden gems, street eats, and local adventures around Australia and Asia.

As so many passions do, theirs turned into a full-time creative journey, as Nick left finance and Helmi balanced content with her corporate role. Together, they inspire others to travel more meaningfully and eat curiously.

Robin Moon

Robin Moon is a visual storyteller and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate whose work evokes a wonder and reverence for nature. Specialising in wildlife and landscape photography, her award-winning images have been published internationally and collected in homes around the world (even featuring on the beloved architecture television program “Grand Designs New Zealand”).

As the co-founder of Wanderlust Imagery, Robin creates fine art prints for exhibitions and private commissions, and shares her expertise through Capture to Print workshops.

Tania Verbeeck

Tania Verbeeck is a Sony Digital Imaging Ambassador and award-winning filmmaker, harnessing more than 15 years of experience telling stories through film. Tania's work focuses on tourism and women’s rights, combining strong visuals with emotional depth to create content that resonates. Over the years, her films have earned international recognition for both their craft and their message.

Off set, Tania is passionate about helping women find their place behind the camera. She mentors emerging filmmakers, runs workshops, and speaks openly about overcoming imposter syndrome – something she believes too many creatives face in silence. Whether directing or teaching, her goal is simple: to support the next generation of storytellers in finding their voice and feeling seen.

Tim Hawkins

Tim Hawkins is a Sydney-based Director of Photography with over three decades of experience across Australia’s top television networks and programs. Launching his career at the Nine Network, filming stories for “60 Minutes” and “A Current Affair”, Tim has since worked on acclaimed shows like “Who Do You Think You Are?” and “Todd Sampson’s Body Hack”, leading large camera teams while maintaining a deep love for documentary and lifestyle storytelling.

Vincent Sheehan

Vincent Sheehan is an award-winning producer whose career spans some of Australia’s most acclaimed film and television projects. His feature credits include “Mullet” (starring Ben Mendelsohn), “Little Fish” (Cate Blanchett), “The Hunter” (Willem Dafoe) and “Jasper Jones” (with Toni Collette and Hugo Weaving). He’s also served as executive producer on “Lore”, “Animal Kingdom” and “The True History of the Kelly Gang”.

In television, Vincent has produced standout series including “The Kettering Incident”, “Operation Buffalo” and “Fisk”. Most recently, he produced “Shayda”, the debut feature from Noora Niasari, which won the Audience Award at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival.
