The World Heritage Listed Royal Exhibition Building is a piece of Australian and world history, maintained and enjoyed for its original intended use. It is one of the last remaining major 19th- century exhibition buildings in the world.

Absolutely! SceneScape will have the most complete line up of Sony digital imaging equipment to get hands-on with. Quantities are limited, but there are ample opportunities to pick up a model that you may be interested in.
Products from our TV and Audio line-ups will also be showcased across the weekend.
Attendees are not required to pre-book their attendance for any scheduled sessions at SceneScape. Attendees are invited to present themselves at the dedicated area for a given talk or workshop prior to a session start-time.
Please note that talks and workshops do have limited capacity so please plan ahead and arrive before the session is scheduled to start to avoid missing out.

The finalist films from the 2026 Catchlight Film Festival will not be screened this year, however the film posters will be viewable in an extended section of the Alpha Awards gallery this year at SceneScape.
Food trucks will be on-site offering a range of delicious food (including vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free options), barista-made coffee, and other beverage choices to keep you fuelled throughout your time at SceneScape.
For those with special mobility requirements, the venue is fully accessible with lift access available to the upper levels. Entry to the venue is on the ground level however please note that there is concrete flooring throughout the building that is not level in some areas so caution is required.
